子供から大人まで、人々の髪を「速く」「キレイに」「楽に」乾かしたいという想いのもと開発。ドライヤーを2つ持ち髪を素早く乾かすスタイリストのテクニックに着目し、その効果を研究することで実現したドレープフローテクノロジーは、2つの吹出口から出る風が髪を立体的に押し分けることで短時間でのヘアドライを可能にしました。また風の温度はセンシングにより自動コントロールされ、熱ダメージを軽減させます。独特な送風機構やセンシングデバイスなどの独自構成要素をシームレスなサーフェイスで内包することで、手当たりと重心バランスの良い操作性を実現し、かつ陰影の変化が美しい本体造形を目指しました。（解説／奈良 俊佑） 2019年9月発売 オープン価格

サロンでは、髪を速く乾かすために片手に2台のドライヤーをもってヘアドライするテクニックがある。これに着想を得て開発されたドライヤーは、2つの吹出口から立体的でドレープ状の風を深く広範囲に届け速乾性を実現している。また、ドライヤーが髪との距離をセンシングし、距離に合わせて風の温度を調整し、髪に与える熱ストレスや過乾燥を抑えている。そして、性能のみではなくドライヤーの「型」を脱した意匠を創出している。（審査委員／長谷川 聡）

IB-WX1 was developed with the desire to dry people’s hair “quickly," “neatly,” and “easily” from children to adults. We studied the effect of the hair stylist’s technique of holding two dryers to dry hair quickly and realized the “drape flow technology,” which shortened the drying time by making the wind from two outlets push through the hair three-dimensionally. In addition, the wind temperature is automatically controlled with a sensor to reduce heat damage. By incorporating original components such as the unique air blowing mechanism and sensing device on a seamless surface, we achieved operability with the right balance between the touch and the center of gravity and also created a body with beautiful shadow transition.
