日々の暮らしをそっと支えるために、いつも側にいて、準備してくれる。そんな道具を作りたくてできたのが「STAN.」シリーズです。日常の様々なシーンに「スタンバイ」し、安全で使いやすい「スタンダード」な製品をつくり続ける、そんな象印の「スタンス」がシリーズ名に込められています。子育て世代の30代を中心としたユーザーをメインターゲットとし、象印がこれまで培ってきた使いやすさやお手入れのしやすさなどをベースに、「うつわ」のような、やさしく、美味しそうな形状と素材感、キッチンの風景になじむたたずまいを目指しました。（解説／象印マホービン株式会社 デザイン室）2019年2月発売 オープン価格

文字が大きくわかりやすい操作パネル、水位目盛や清掃性の工夫など随所に施されたユーザビリティにはメーカーの長年のノウハウが的確に反映されて、毎日使ってこそ魅力を発揮する常用生活家電といえるだろう。マットブラックを基調としたボディはシンプルで落ち着いた佇まいであるが、底面部の天然素材を思わせるカラー部材がさりげなくインテリアとの親和性を高め、シリーズを印象づけるアクセントとなっている。（選定委員／柳橋 肇）

This “STAN.” series was created with an idea to make a product that is always around and ready to provide discreet support to our daily lives. The name of the series embodies Zojirushi’s stance that we continue to produce standard products that are always on a "stand-by" in our daily scenes and safe and easy to use. The main target is users of child-rearing generation in their 30s, and the product was developed with the aim of making it look like a tableware in a gentle and tantalizing form and with materiality that would blend in with the kitchen atmosphere. With usability applied all over the product such as the easy-to-read-and-understand operation panel, water level scale and cleanability, it reflects the manufacturer’s know-how that has been built up over the years, and it can be said that it is a daily household appliance that appeals to users only when used every day. It has a matte black body with a simple and calm appearance, but the colored part reminiscent of natural material at the bottom seems to enhance its affinity with the interior, accentuating the series.
