プライベートビエラは、ワイヤレスで家じゅうどこででも映像が楽しめるポータブルテレビです。テレビ放送/録画番組/ネット動画が視聴でき、防水仕様で浴室などの水廻りでも楽しめます。デザインは、モニターとスタンドのシンプルな構成で生活空間になじむ外観を追及しました。さらにスタンドは、様々な視聴スタイルに配慮し画面角度の調整とともに移動時のハンドルとして使用したりＳ字フックなどに引っ掛けて視聴するなど、使い勝手にこだわりました。様々な生活空間でフレキシブルに映像コンテンツを楽しめる快適な視聴体験の提供を目指しました。（解説／パナソニック株式会社 アプライアンス社 デザインセンター）2019年6月発売 オープン価格

忙しい日常生活を送っていると、ゆっくり入浴することやまとまった時間を取って映画（DVDやBlu-lay）を観ることも儘ならない。この両者を結び付け、DVDの映像を送受信させた初めての製品である。映画一本分の入浴は難しいが、既存の技術をうまく活用し課題解決させることで、それを待ち望んだユーザーのニーズに応えた点で、これからの家電の在り方を示した好例であろう。（選定委員／長谷川 聡）

Private Viera is a portable wireless TV, which users can enjoy watching anywhere in the house. The device plays TV programs, recorded shows, and internet videos, waterproofed to allow use in wet areas like bathrooms. The simple design only consists of a monitor and a stand to blend in with the living space. The stand is designed to be incredibly versatile, functioning as a screen angle adjuster, a carrying handle, or a hanger for S hooks. We aimed to provide a convenient viewing experience where users can flexibly enjoy watching video contents in any living space. Busy lifestyles limit our time to take a relaxing bath or watch films on DVD and Blu-ray. The product is the first to connect the two experiences together by transmitting and receiving DVD images. Although it may be difficult to finish a film in a bath time, this is an excellent example of home electric appliances of the future in the sense that it applied existing technologies to create new solutions to meet the needs of anticipating users.
