スポーツ・ツーリングの楽しさを実現する三輪バイクである。従来、三輪バイクは安定性から配達業務などの実用性のみが注目されていた。これを払拭したのが同社の先行モデル「TRICITY」シリーズである。本機はそのスポーツバイク版である。エンジン排気量が845ccへアップされ、優れた旋回機能を実現する「LMW」機能など楽しさを実現する様々な機能を搭載。細部から外観全体まで丁寧に作り込まれた完成度の高いデザインである。（選定委員／武正 秀治）

NIKEN is a large LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) vehicle with a liquid-cooled inline three cylinder engine. The LMW technology is less affected by changes in the driving environment and achieves a high level of stability when turning. NIKEN achieves high sports performance with this technology, travelling freely on varying road conditions and winding roads with sharp corners. NIKEN is a tricycle that provides the excitement of sport touring. Due to their stability, tricycles have been conventionally recognized only in terms of practicality, such as for delivery business. This model is a sport bike version of the company's leading model "TRICITY" series, which has overturned the impression of tricycles. The engine displacement has been raised to 845 cc, and various other functions have been added to bring joy to this vehicle, such as the "LMW" function for exceptional turning.
