携帯電話やパソコンに限らず家庭内のスマート家電を繋ぐ、安定した大容量通信を可能にしたWi-Fiルーターである。多くのルーターは薄型の箱形状をしているため、設置個所は人目に触れない場所が一般的だ。しかし隠れた置き場所は通信障害も招いてしまう。この製品はネットワークの中心的存在感をデザインで表現し、目立つ所に置かせる、というメッセージ性を持たせている。デザインの持つ機能性をいかんなく発揮した製品と言えよう 。（選定委員／北村 光彦）

Used with a dedicated repeater, this router realizes a Wi-Fi network spanned in the form of a mesh. With a round shape expressing an uninterrupted network as a motif, distinctive colors such as pearl white gray and pearl rose gray, not the monotone black and white colors used for conventional routers, were adopted to harmonize with various interiors. In addition, a movable antenna is placed at the center of the housing so that users can adjust it in any direction to send radio waves without a sense of strangeness.
